Elizabeth Ream, MA, LPC

We all have times in our lives when we need to make a change, but taking the steps by ourselves can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re an adult dealing with depression or anxiety, a teenager looking for help in navigating life, a parent searching for some insight into their child’s behaviors, or a professional trying to find better a balance in life, reaching out for therapy is a safe, effective way to gain support, relief and direction. It’s my belief that the best style of therapy involves collaboration and is a true partnership between client and therapist.
I’ve been working as a Licensed Professional Counselor for 25 years in Georgia, primarily as a Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapist with specialization in grief, trauma, depression, ADHD and anxiety. My current area of focus is in working with clients to develop and nurture resilience; especially those needing support during life changes-divorce, death, trauma, health diagnoses and moves.
Along with that, I’ve also served as a treatment consultant and parent coach for those needing help finding treatment options and referrals for family members. Lastly, over the course of my career, I’ve served as a counselor trainer, workshop leader, a clinical director and treatment team manager in a variety of settings. Currently, my practice is focused on providing individual therapy for clients aged 10 to 60.
