Liza Moran-Fernandez, LCSW


Liza Moran-Fernandez has been working with children and families as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for nearly 25 years in a variety of settings including healthcare, community mental health and private practice. She has trained in the practice of psychotherapy, play therapy and family systems. She uses interpersonal, cognitive behavioral therapeutic principles and brief therapy techniques to help her clients. Liza works with children, adolescents, families, individuals and couples. She specializes in trauma, bereavement, anxiety, depression, adjustment to life changes, as well as family, marital and individual issues. Utilizing a positive, collaborative approach while providing a safe nurturing environment, Liza helps individuals heal old wounds and patterns. She believes that therapy is a shared journey toward healing and toward the creation of an individual’s best life. Her goal as a therapist is to walk beside her patients on this journey.
