Teresa Cagle, DNP, APRN, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Teresa is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Georgia College and State ·University (GCSU). At Vanderbilt, she was honored with the prestigious Founder’s Medal, awarded to the top graduate in each class. Her academic work included a significant quality improvement project focused on pharmacogenomics, underscoring her commitment to precision and innovation in mental health care.

Teresa provides comprehensive psychiatric care across the lifespan, integrating clinical expertise with compassion and a deep commentment to her clients’ mental and physical wellness. Beyond her clinical work, she is dedicated to educating future healthcare professionals. She serves as faculty and clinical preceptor at both Emory University and GCSU, mentoring students with a focus on clinical excellence and leadership.

Deeply rooted in her community, Teresa is an active member of the Trilith Foundation, an organization committed to promoting human flourishing through mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational wellness. She and her family attend Passion City Church in Trilith, where they are actively engaged in community life. Family remains Teresa’s greatest joy. She cherishes time spent with her three sons, two daughters-in-law, and soon-to-be third-especially during Sunday lunches around the table, her most favorite tradition.

Teresa’s passion is committed to bringing hope and transformation to those navigating mental health challenges. She views her work as a calling and finds deep fulfillment in helping clients experience meaningful change and healing.
