Associate Marriage and Family Therapist Systemic & Attachment-Informed Care

When life and relationships become complicated, having the right support can make it possible to move forward with greater clarity and confidence. As a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I provide therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges.

My approach is warm, grounded, and practical. Therapy should be a place where clients can slow down, make sense of what they are experiencing, and develop tools that lead to meaningful change-not just temporary relief. Using a systemic and attachment-informed perspective, I help clients understand both their individual experiences and the relationship patterns that may be shaping them.

Children and adolescents are an important part of my practice. I support young clients experiencing emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, anxiety, family transitions, and relationship challenges. Sessions are tailored to each child’s age and individual needs, creating a space where they can feel safe, understood, and better able to express themselves.

With couples, the work centers on communication, conflict, trust, emotional connection, and recurring relationship patterns. I also specialize in complex family systems, parenting support, court-involved families, reunification, attachment and relationship dynamics, loyalty conflicts, and role confusion. In these more complicated family situations, I help clients understand how roles, boundaries, alliances, and repeated patterns are affecting the whole system, while supporting families in moving toward greater stability, healthier connection, and clearer expectations.

Men who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or hesitant about therapy often appreciate my straightforward, nonjudgmental style. The goal is to create a space where progress feels practical, respectful, and manageable.

I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Mercer University. My background as a Registered Behavior Therapist and in emergency medicine also allows me to bring calm, structure, and compassion to complex or emotionally intense situations.

Meaningful change is possible. Whether the concern involves a child, a relationship, or an entire family system, you do not have to navigate it alone.
