Suvrat J. Bhargave, MD  
(pronounced: bar-ga-vay)

Dr. Bhargave is a highly respected child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist practicing in the Fayette County area.
He has been voted repeatedly as best Psychiatrist in the Piedmont area by Lifestyles Magazine and has been
requested to lecture locally and nationally on a broad range of topics related to mental health including anxiety,
depression, developmental disorder and ADHD.

Having been born and raised on the south side of Atlanta, Dr. Bhargave is in touch with the needs of the
community and is an active resource for the Fayette County School System as well as other local organizations.
After receiving his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Georgia, he graduated from the
Medical College of Georgia. He then earned both his residency training and specialty fellowship in Child and
Adolescent Psychiatry from Duke University.

Cynthia A. Duncan, APRN

Cynthia Duncan has over 25 years experience as a
psychiatric nurse. Her work with children, adolescents and
adults in private practice, psychiatric hospitals, residential
treatment centers, and community mental health centers
form the foundation for her extensive knowledge.  
Additionally, Cindy taught at Norfolk Sentara School of
Nursing. Cindy earned a B.S. in Nursing from Old Dominion
University and a M.S. in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing
from the Medical College of Virginia. She is board certified
as a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist by the American
Nurse’s Association.   

Cynthia's experience in diagnostic assessments,
psychotherapy and psychopharmacology prepared her to
assist patients with challenging issues to include trauma,
addiction, depression, anxiety and ADHD.  She provides
empathic and holistic care. Her passion for her work
manifests in her sincere desire to serve others. Cynthia
lives in Fayette County with her husband and twin daughters.
Mary Ann Navarre, LPC

Mary Ann Navarre has over 30 years’ experience working in
all areas of the field of addictions and mental health.  She
earned her Bachelor’s degree from University of Maryland
and her Master’s degree from University of Northern
Colorado. She is a licensed professional counselor in the
State of Georgia and has extensive experience in clinical
supervision and education/training.  
Mary Ann has been employed in CO, AK, NM, and GA and
has worked in both residential and outpatient treatment
centers in addition to schools, jails, courts and community
corrections.  She is skilled in teaching psycho-educational
classes in addition to providing individual, group, and family
therapy. She is highly sought-after for her comprehensive
substance abuse/mental health assessments and
expertise in working collaboratively with the courts.  She is
passionate about her role in the healing process and pulls
from a variety of approaches in order to help people achieve
their goals.  Mary Ann and her husband have lived and
raised children in Fayette County for the past 20 years.
Robert W. Wager, LPC

Robert works with couples and individual adults dealing
with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, bereavement,
substance abuse, personal growth and many other life
issues.  

Robert is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), and has
been practicing for 15 years.  He has been with The Center
for Family Psychiatry  for 5 years.

He graduated from Georgia State University with a Masters
Degree in Community Counseling, and has been a resident
of Fayette County for 28 years.

Suzanne Maiden, LPC

Suzanne Maiden is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  
She earned her  M.A. in Counseling, with an emphasis in
Depth Psychology, from Pacifica Graduate Institute, in Santa
Barbara, CA.  

Suzanne’s clinical experience includes Self-Injury aka,
‘cutting’, substance abuse, sexual abuse/identity issues,
eating disorders, sudden and anticipatory death, and
catastrophic illnesses.  Suzanne uses an eclectic approach
in working with clients.  She blends theories from the
imaginable to the concrete – from Jungian techniques
which integrate dream analysis and Sandplay to Family
Systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  

Suzanne is published, presents to various organizations,
and has been a featured guest on Broadminded XM
Satellite Radio show, Daily Source Code Podcast hosted by
Adam Curry, and Shrinkrap Radio Podcast hosted by Dr.
Dave Van Nuys.  She is one of the few therapists in the local
area that has extensive training in dream analysis; she is
the first therapist in the U.S. to facilitate Dream Directions
Group, a federally funded program to assist drug addicts in
recovery.  Suzanne is a member of American Counselors
Association and The American Academy of Bereavement.
